According to Ukrinform, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported this via Telegram.
He stated, "Currently, two individuals are injured in the Sviatoshyn district in a residential building where a fire broke out due to debris from the UAV. One of them has been hospitalized, while the other received assistance on-site from medical staff."
At 7:56 AM, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the fire in the Sviatoshyn district had been extinguished.
The fire occurred on the 16th floor, with partial destruction noted in the apartments on the 15th and 16th floors of the 16-story residential building.
Rescuers evacuated 18 residents from the building.
The police clarified that the injured included a patrol officer and a resident of the Sviatoshyn district.
7In the Sviatoshyn district, a 16-story residential building was damaged due to falling drone debris, resulting in fires in the upper-floor apartments.
In the Solomianskyi district, debris damaged vehicles and shattered windows in two residential buildings.
A patrol officer who was providing assistance to residents of the burning building in the Sviatoshyn district has been hospitalized. Preliminary reports indicate that he suffered from smoke inhalation.
Another injured person, a resident of the same district, received medical assistance without hospitalization.
Investigation teams from local police units, emergency services, and medical personnel continue to work at the scene. Information will be updated.
As reported by Ukrinform, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration, debris from Russian drones fell in the Solomianskyi, Sviatoshyn, and Dnipro districts of Kyiv.
