This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, on Telegram, as conveyed by Ukrinform.
"During the night, the Russian army targeted Nikopol twice. Using heavy artillery, the aggressor bombarded the district center and the Marhanets community. More than half a dozen shells landed there," he noted.
Lysak emphasized that there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the shelling.
Additionally, he mentioned that in the evening, the enemy attacked the Synelnykove region. A fire broke out due to the invaders' assault, but it was extinguished.
"Last night, air defenders in the Dnipropetrovsk region shot down 8 UAVs. Thank you, Air Command 'East'," Lysak reported.
Recall that the day before, the aggressor had been attacking Nikopol with kamikaze drones and artillery throughout the day. The communities affected included Nikopol, Myrivska, Chervonohryhorivska, and Pokrovsk – both urban and rural.
