On the night and morning of the attack, Russians fired on the Sumy border area 24 times, causing damage.

As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Facebook.

The invaders dropped guided aerial bombs on the Yunakivka community, damaging three private homes in the process.

The Sumy community was attacked by the Russians using a drone, resulting in damage to two residential buildings and 23 private vehicles.

The Esman community was shelled by Russian forces using mortars. Additionally, fragmentation munitions of the VOG type were dropped on its territory from a drone. Similar munitions were also dropped on the Velykopysarivka community.

The Khotyn community suffered an enemy strike from guided aerial bombs, while the Seredyno-Buda community faced an assault from an FPV drone.

In the skies over the Bezdrikivka community, air defense forces detected and destroyed a Russian UAV.

As Ukrinform reported, on the night of January 30, a strike drone from the Russian military hit a residential high-rise building in Sumy. So far, there are reports of four fatalities and nine injuries. Rescue operations are ongoing.
