The KMVA reports this on Telegram, as conveyed by Ukrinform.
“A fire broke out on the upper floors of a 16-story residential building in the Svyatoshynsky district. Preliminary reports suggest possible partial destruction of the highest floors. Firefighting is underway over an area of 15 square meters,” the message states.
Evacuation of residents is ongoing, added KMVA head Serhiy Popko.
Vitaliy Klitschko later reported one injury.
"Currently, there is one injured person in the Svyatoshynsky district in the residential building where the fire occurred due to debris from a UAV. Medical assistance has been provided to the man on-site," the report states.
Later, Serhiy Popko reported a fire in the Dnipro district.
"In addition to the Solomiansky and Svyatoshynsky districts, debris has also been recorded in the Dnipro district. As a result, a balcony fire occurred on one floor of a 9-story residential building, covering an area of 2 square meters," wrote the head of KMVA.
Klitschko wrote that firefighters promptly eliminated the smoke that arose on the balcony of one of the apartments in the Dnipro district of Kyiv due to household reasons.
Earlier, the KMVA reported that debris from strike UAVs had been recorded falling in the Solomiansky district, within a residential area. Several buildings sustained damage to window glazing. Additionally, at least five parked cars were damaged.
