Shelling in Sumy region: 95 explosions were recorded in border areas within a single day.

Throughout the day, Russian forces conducted 20 shelling attacks on border areas and populated localities in the Sumy region, with a total of 95 explosions recorded.

As reported by Ukrinform, this information was shared by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Facebook.

“The communities of Yunakivka, Krasnopillia, Velykopysarivka, Novoslobidka, Hlukhiv, Esman, Shalyhyne, Svesa, and Seredyno-Buda were subjected to shelling,” the report states.

The enemy targeted the Esman community with mortars (14 explosions), artillery (12 explosions), and attacked with an FPV drone (1 explosion).

Attacks by Russian FPV drones were also recorded in the Hlukhiv and Shalyhyne communities (4 and 1 explosion respectively).

In the Seredyno-Buda community, Russian troops dropped 5 mines, while in Novoslobidka, they dropped 6.

The Krasnopillia community experienced shelling from mortars (9 explosions), and Svesa was hit by grenade launchers (29 explosions).

The Velykopysarivka community was shelled by artillery (8 explosions) and faced VOG drops from UAVs (4 explosions).

As a result of the artillery attack, 2 explosions occurred in the Yunakivka community.

As previously reported, in Krolivets, Sumy region, rescuers were caught under a repeated Russian strike while extinguishing a fire at a farm during the operation.
