In Kherson region, one person was killed and 16 others were injured due to Russian strikes within a single day.

On January 9, Russian forces struck 41 settlements in the Kherson region, resulting in one fatality and 16 injuries.

As reported by Ukrinform, this was stated by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin on Facebook.

According to him, the following areas were under enemy fire and airstrikes: Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozirka, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Nezlamne, Sukhanove, Novoraisk, Zamožne, Rakivka, Chervonyi Mayak, Novoberyslav, Poniativka, Tomaryne, Veletenske, Molodizhne, Komyshany, Naddnipryanske, Sadove, Vesele, Virivka, Dudchany, Olhivka, Mykolaivske, Sablukivka, Kizomys, Tokarivka, Tyahynka, Ivanivka, Mykolaivka, Mykhailivka, Monastyrske, Novooleksandrivka, Novotyahynka, Lviv, Zelenevka, Zmiivka, Prydniprovske, Havrylivka, and Kherson.

Six apartment buildings, 42 private houses, gas pipelines, garages, utility structures, and vehicles were damaged.

Due to Russian aggression, one person was killed and another 16 were injured, Prokudin noted.

As reported by Ukrinform, since the beginning of the year, Russian forces have attacked the Kherson region approximately 650 times using drones.
