In Kherson region, one person lost their life and four others were injured due to shelling over the past day.

The head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported this on Telegram, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

“Due to Russian aggression, 1 person has died, and 4 others have sustained injuries,” Prokudin wrote.

According to him, the enemy shelled Kherson and 32 other settlements in the region. Russian troops targeted social infrastructure and residential areas of the localities. As a result of the shelling, a multi-storey building and 12 private houses, a gas pipeline, utility structures, a garage, and private vehicles were damaged.

The head of the Regional State Administration also noted that during a nighttime drone attack, the Air Defense Forces shot down a Russian UAV of the Shahed-131/136 type over the region.

As previously reported, on February 20, in Kherson Oblast, two people were killed and two others were injured due to Russian aggression.
