Drones targeted one of Russia's largest oil refineries, the CPC, located in Ufa.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalenko, reported this in Telegram.

Kovalenko stated that this oil refinery is one of the largest in Russia. The capacity of the refinery, which consists of several enterprises, totals approximately 20 million tons of oil per year.

"Ufa is one of the largest oil refining centers in Russia. In terms of overall processing volumes, the Bashkortostan region ranks among the top 5 oil refining centers in the country," emphasized the head of the CCD.

Refinery holds strategic importance for the Russian army, as it is part of a group of enterprises that supply fuel to it.

Its products include aviation and diesel fuel for military vehicles and lubricants necessary for the operation of armored vehicles, aviation, and automotive transport, Kovalenko highlighted.

As reported by Ukrinform, according to Kovalenko, the attacked seaport in Tuapse is one of the key cargo ports of the Russian Federation on the Black Sea.
