It has been established that the suspect accessed the Unified State Register of Court Decisions using the judge's login and password without her knowledge.
Through the register, the lawyer was able to obtain complete information regarding court rulings, including those related to his clients, and conveyed this information via messaging apps. As a result, he warned his clients about planned investigative actions concerning fraudulent call centers.
By his actions, the suspect caused a leak of information from the register and disclosed details of the pre-trial investigation.
The lawyer has been charged under Part 5 of Article 361 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – unauthorized interference in the operation of electronic computing machines (computers), automated systems, computer networks, or telecommunications networks. He faces up to 15 years of imprisonment.
The suspect has been served with a motion for a preventive measure in the form of detention.
